Your secret is encrypted directly on your device using the AES-256-CBC algorithm, a symmetric encryption standard used to secure sensitive data.
A random key is generated for each secret, along with a unique initialization vector (IV). These two elements work together to transform the original text into an unreadable, encrypted form.
The encryption key is never stored or transmitted: it is securely embedded within the unique link you share. Without the complete link,
it is cryptographically impossible — even for us — to access your secret.
